Saturday 21st August Harry Richie and his party went Tope
Fishing and were rewarded when Ricky Fowler caught the biggest
tope so far in the area at 63lbs 8ozs
On
Saturday 14th August, Frank Tully From Athboy Co.Meath, along with
a party of friends from Dublin, landed some very fine fish Ballan Wrasse,
one of which was a specimen Pollack up to 13lbs weight, also a specimen,
plently of mackeral codling up to 3lbs weight.
Skipper Oliver Finnegan landed a specimen Pollack.
Saturday 31st July a party from Bangor, organised by David Megarry, had a stag weekend in Warrenpoint & Rostrevor for their friend Brenden Napier. A fishing trip on the Saturday proved to be very enjoyable with the lads catching plenty of fish. We wish Brenden all the best.

Sunday 26 October - A party from Enterprise Ireland Angling Club (John Conway Leader). Weather was very good - flat and calm. Fishing, after a slow start picked up as the day progressed with 8 species being caught - Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Mackeral, Cod, Pouting, and Whiting, with plenty of octopus and squid and cod. The Cod was of a good size.
Sunday 5 October - Our regular visitors from Bessbrook, near Newry, saw Richard Fletcher and his mates take advantage of the last of the summer's warmer weather to book a boys' only day out. Needless to say a few drinks were consumed, and it was never really agreed upon as to who made the biggest catch, although there was a good selection of Mackeral, Cod and Dog Fish brought home. It was unfortunate that Dave couldn't make it this time, the menu at the Viaduct Restaurant may have had an spectacular chef's special that evening.
Saturday 27 September - A party led by Emmett Finnegan from Castlebellingham and Dundalk enjoyed their day out, with a large selection of Mackeral and Cod to take home. Prize of the day went to Ronan, who managed to net a 27 lb Tope
